Combined Companies Will Form Technology-Focused Subsidiary of the World's Largest Privately-Held Language Services Firm, TransPerfect Translations

New York, NY & Boston, MA — May 25, 2006 — Translations.com, a leader in website and software localization, Globalization Management software products, and enterprise-level translation solutions, today announced that it has completed a merger with leading software localization and content solutions provider, ArchiText Inc.

Boston-based ArchiText will become a division of Translations.com and continue to be led by founder Hans Fenstermacher, a 25-year veteran of the localization industry and founding Chairman of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA). In addition to remaining President of the ArchiText Division, Fenstermacher will join the senior management team of Translations.com.

ArchiText and Translations.com plan to develop and leverage ABREVE, ArchiText's patent-pending process and technology which enables multinational clients to control cost by effectively reducing the amount of authored content they create and translate. ABREVE clients benefit from improved and global-ready English content, which leads to a dramatic reduction in localization expenditures.
